Better solution than more expensive options

This app does the job. Nothing fancy about the interface, Id like the volume control to be designed better, but it works. I was able to listen to the home team radio call on WGN of the NHL Playoff game between the LA Kings and Chicago Blackhawks tonight while watching the broadcast on NBC-SN and the delay was 8.7 seconds. BatCrack Radio delay was easy to set up. I used a Griffin iMic for the input from a small portable radio and went from my MacBook Pros headphone jack to my stereo amplifier. The iMic wasnt necessary, but it lets you switch from a line level input to a mic level input. It might help avoid distortion. During the national anthem I had the TV sound on and could adjust the length of the delay until the radio and TV matched perfectly.

You might not realize you must "turn" the volume "knob" on the screen using your mouse to bring up the volume or you will not hear any output. Also, the app hides the menu bar. You can quit with cmd-q or move your cursor up to the top of the screen and the menu bar will appear. I was pleased that the app did not fail during the entire game or loose the timing of the delay. Once the exact delay needed was set, I didnt need to touch it. I almost invested about $60 for a "SportSync Radio" to accomplish the same goal. This was a much better, and less expensive solution. Best of all, the Blackhawks won!
